for me as a person, winters are horrible for me as a migraine sufferer and if you follow me you know. And IMO if the uni run courses all year long I shouldn’t have to ask for an accommodation to teach in the summer. Nor should emails about my condition be passed around for an informal accommodation
Summer is better because class size is around 100 rather than 500 so … reminding me I need to ask to have a class moved from a really horrible room
Because of strange things I teach this summer (and honestly I hope all summers for all summers I live in Calgary) and while Trump economic policies are 🫣 for teaching macro to first year macro Econ he has been a fucking gold mine for engagement
