Historian here history first time as tragedy the second time as farce.
Wow: the President of Columbia University is *directly refuting* the Department of Homeland Securityβs claims.
DHS told us that agents βverbally identified themselvesβ & wore badges.
βThey did NOT and would not identify themselves as NYPD.β
Shipman here says agents pretended to be police:

They found him. He died.
Another murder by our immigration goon squads
Border Patrol released Nurul Amin Shah Alam, a 56 yo man, nearly blind with serious medical conditions, at "an old address & his family had since moved" in Buffalo, NY in the winter. "His family was not initially notified." He was found dead. @news4buffalo.bsky.social

One upside to the blizzard knocking out our power, no state of the union to watch.
The story that Elon Musk committed voter fraud has gotten next to no coverage -- one of those things you can't make come up on a Google search.
But I think it's time for Dems to go on offensive abt right wing coddling of this immigrant interfering in our elections.

U.S. Southern Command * X.com @Southcom On Feb. 13, at the direction of #SOUTHCOM commander Gen. Francis L. Donovan, Joint Task Force Southern Spear conducted a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel operated by Designated Terrorist Organizations. Intelligence confirmed the vessel was transiting along known narco-trafficking routes in the Caribbean and was engaged in narco-trafficking operations. Three narco-terrorists were killed during this action. No U.S. military forces were harmed. @DeptofWar #OpSouthernSpear
We murdered three more people in a boat today
ironically, i should print this⦠and hang it by the drawing board as a constant reminder.

Hereβs an orange chicken I made. Just for the heck of it. Keep going. You are doing great. pam bondi is an unhinged incompetent loser. Random thoughts for the day.
im no six figure political consultant but if i were in charge as the trump admin was warning about catastrophic jobs numbers coming tomorrow, id probably have my βevery republican president destroys the economyβ campaign ready to go for the rest of the week
This is 18-mo-old Amalia waving to me when she was detained.
She was hospitalized with a respiratory infection while at ICEβs Dilley facility for immigrant families.
Sheβs one of dozens of detainees who I spoke to via video and phone calls, letters and an in-person visit. π§΅1/
1/ ProPublica collected handwritten letters in mid-January from children held at the Dilley Immigration Processing Center, the same facility where 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos was taken.
Hundreds of kids are still detained.
Weβll let the childrenβs words speak for themselves. π§΅
Fuck Tyson. Stop giving him money and attention.
This government is OURS.
It is funded by US.
That is OUR White House.
WE pay for EVERYTHING.
ALL OF IT.
WE THE PEOPLE are the rightful owners of this nation.
Donβt EVER forget it.
FIGHT LIKE HELL FOR IT.
NEVER give up.
Why is the Trump Administration fighting harder to arrest 5-year-old children than pedophiles in the Epstein files?
π―
Fridley and Duluth schools, along with the state teachers union, are suing the Trump administration to keep federal immigration agents off school property.
Predicting that this week weβll hear more conciliatory words from the Administration regarding Minnesota (since theyβre starting to realize that ICE has become politically toxic) but everyone outside of Minnesota needs to know that nothing on the ground has changed.
Thatβs the whole thing. We are flooded with big stories.
Since a lot of the coverage is omitting this detail: The Kennedy Center HAD a $250 million renovation and expansion just a few years ago, in 2019.
UPDATE: A federal court granted our motion to join a lawsuit aiming to stop Knox County, Tennessee from establishing a religious public charter school funded by taxpayers.
The separation of church and state isn't optional.
"A 2-year-old boy was breastfeeding in detention. One 6-year-old boy had leukemia. An 8-year-old girl began wetting the bed. A 14-year-old girl engaged in self-harm...None of these children or their parents had a criminal history anywhere in the world."

Now for the rest of the babies theyβve shoved into that detention center.
β.. for most Trump investors, the year has been brutal. But .. for the President and his family, the money-making shows no sign of slowing.β

A Minneapolis knitting shop has resurrected the design of a Norwegian cap worn to protest Nazi occupation. Its owner says the money raised from hat pattern sales will support the local immigrant community. n.pr/4thWiUr
At this point, is it just easier and quicker to publish lists of which powerful people do NOT appear in the Epstein files?
