On the one hand YouTube is a giant radicalisation machine that is pushing existing global political structures to breaking point. On the other, thereโs ALWAYS a video by a retired handymen showing how to fix the door slide on your specific brand of kitchen drawer. So Iโm calling it a score draw.
One of the greatest bollard walks in history.

a tweet reply from Northumberland County Council reading: "The platform numbering won't be changing at Northumberland Park as it's two separate systems and there's a similar situation with the rail and Metro interchange at Heworth where both systems have platforms 1 & 2 on each station"
How long before both Northumberland Park and Heworth stations have their platform numbering corrected to create a single coherent interchange at each?
If we can get this tweet viral I'd say we can get it done in a month.
Something compelled me to make this
Emma and Hannah hugging in the Green Party hub, both smiling at the camera
Two lovely plumbers we met who said they are voting Green. Two Pakistani men stand near their trade van, holding a Green Party poster and leaflet.
Emma and Zack Polanski hugging and smiling. They are in a park and there are lots of volunteers in the background.
Was actually up in Manchester for the Gorton and Denton by election, door knocking for Hannah Spencer. The vibes were excellent and the doors very Green!
I'm quoted at the end of this very sorry tale of evidence-free decision-making from my non-Green councillor colleagues

We tried to invite Ontario Premier Doug Ford to our live show in Toronto on Thursday, February 5th, hosted by @cycletoronto.bsky.social, so we brought two comically large tickets to Queen's Park. Here's how it went.

Photo of 5 dog figurines in profile facing to the left in a staggered line. The closest one is reddish, the three in the middle are beige, and the furthest is dark grey. Each one has a cuneiform inscription on their side.
For anyone wondering, some possible dog names have survived from cuneiform sources.
On tiny dog figurines found buried under a palace in Nineveh, Iraq are inscriptions that seem to be names.

I visited Barton Hill's latest Bus Gat, can't wait for our bus to be faster and more reliable travelling through Barton Hill, the council just need to paint the 'E'! #Bristol #EBLN

A huge drop from yesterday's forecasts, across the whole week! ๐
Imagine how upset at Elon you have to be to part with a bunch of eggs right now.
A street with shops to the left and forecourt parking and a fairly wide footway, but a bit cluttered with a glass phone box at the rear and a bin and a lighting column to the front. There are cycle lanes on the road to the right and the lighting column has a triangular cycle warning sign.
We had @mrdannyw.bsky.social showing us a terrible footway-blocking advert sign.
Here's how I dealt with a well-known telecoms company on such a site.
There was a phone box which said company wanted to remove because it was old, but they also made money from the advertising space.
