There’s beautiful cross country skiing & snow shoeing high up at Tahoe Meadows between Lake Tahoe & Reno. This painting is part of our Clarity show at Ridgeline Gallery & part of the Truckee Art Walk this Saturday, September 6 from 4-7 pm.

Definitely my most challenging painting to date. This was from a cold, clear morning hike to Tahoe in January. I enjoyed working on this painting during the heat of summer & during these turbulent times. Cool & calm.
