It really was a great time. I miss the kinds of communities that would grow around a dedicated server. BTW, I still keep this as my avatar for certain things
When I do actually want generated closed captions for non-English videos that aren't officially translated, it makes you scroll through a massive list of languages instead of defaulting to your preferred language, which they already recognize when they do the auto AI dub. Worst of both worlds.
It's been in use within the DoD since the late 80s as a general service agnostic term for troops after they decided that "soldier" was a title meant only for members of the Army.

What mods are you running?
This coming winter or Winter 2026? I'm still confused on the actual release date for it.
I'm waiting for the PC version and it's going to be extremely hard to avoid spoilers until then.
I was pleasantly surprised by that, but I really didn't expect to see any Zudah love from this series
The head is still attached, it's the arm that gets shot off
Is the little green slit at the top of the head supposed to be the bridge/cockpit? I know the head was originally the cockpit in the original Psycho Gundams.
Hmm I just watched the english dub of episode 1 and they even kept kirakira there. Something is definitely up with it.
I would generally avoid Seagate drives since they typically have higher failure rates. I would recommend looking into Toshiba, HGST, and Western Digital NAS drives for big long term storage HDDs.
Honestly hoping the cover is just a placeholder.
Also featured on the F-15J Kai Eagle Plus from the infamous Wyvern scene in Patlabor 2
This is the plane equivalent of an anime bathroom scene where the naughty bits are obscured by steam
Since Thunderbolt is wrapping up, it'd seem like the perfect place to host an Ohtagaki VOTOMS series. Just sayin.
I suspect there will actually be a character named Kira-kira down the road and they wanted to preserve that. One of the interviews you translated with Tsurumaki/Enokido/Anno points out the "Lah-lah" sfx highlighting Newtype interactions in the OG series and them wanting to do something similar.
I always wondered why they toned down the plasma effects for the retail release. I wonder if they were causing performance issues on the original xbox hardware.
