I almost didn't post it because of just how loaded it felt; but I'm glad that when you saw it, it struck something in you enough to linger upon the details of it. If it was able to do that, then it makes me feel like it was worth posting.

That being said, I would be lying if I said this image didn't contain a lot of my own feelings. I've felt like this. Many people I know have felt like this. And because of how accidentally personal I've made it, I'm disabling comments on it.

Some context for Home, because posting that prompt made me feel really raw.

Adeline's story contains a constant struggle over having autonomy of her mind and body. Her relationship with her echo and her job/soul stones is a horror story, where if her control slips, it has significant consequences.
