I very rarely commute these days and on the occasions I do I really should read rather than scroll or read the news/articles on my phone.

I actually had 45 minutes before my first meeting this morning once I got into town so sat and had breakfast with my book, rather than aimlessly doomscroll.

I miss the days when I was able to do that regularly.

It must have been a fever dream.

I’m guessing that current owner of the actual building no longer allows filming there as there’s never any outdoor scenes anymore and we have those horrible new stables for anything equine-based.

And let’s not get on to what they’ve done to Kim since her return to the show.

I miss the old Home Farm, I miss the estate office/stud set and I hate that it’s all now open plan. And let’s not even get into the interior design of it. We must be due another fire/explosion to restore it to its former glory. We deserve it.

Never feel guilty. I used to until the time I had Covid (had it so badly I was bed-ridden) and was asked if I could dial into a client meeting ‘You don’t have to speak (I’d lost my voice), just dial in so you can do the minutes’.

I threw my work phone across the room and switched it off.
