Lobster (because they didn’t have my first choice of courgette blossom) and chicken. I skipped dessert as I’d had a nice lunch in the lounge! The lobster was OK but I wouldn’t have it again and the chicken was really good!

After a wonderful 12 days of catching up with friends and family from Newcastle to Beaconsfield via Porthcawl, it’s time to head home. Today’s chariot is an 11 yr old B777-336(ER) with reg G-STBG operating as BA115 LHR-NYC. First time on this aircraft despite having flown with many of her siblings!
We’ve been following this BA A350 from PHL the whole way home. Fun fact is that I’ve never flown on a BA A350 (although have flown on A350s with other airlines - AY/QR/CX) so maybe I should pop down to Philly and give it a go next time!

There are long lines waiting for take off as there’s a backlog from waiting for the worst of the storm to pass. It’s like a normal day at EWR! 😂

Currently sat at JFK watching the thunderstorm while I wait to board the BA176 to LHR! Tonight’s flight is on a 28-yr-old Boeing 777-236(ER) with reg G-VIIG who I last flew on in November 2022! Here’s to getting some rest before driving to Wales in the morning! 🙏🏼
