Photo portrait of a woman in glasses and a gray sweater with hair tied back.and is looking down slightly at the camera, and alongside a brick building before golden tree. The scene is pictured through a gold-rimmed makeup mirror, set on the ground.
Probably the best photo taken of me in the last year
I mean thatβs sorta like saying Ukraine is WW3
I appreciate a response to this is simply βthis is a war perpetrated for the purpose of cruelty and punishment,β which I would accept, but I expect more in particular from the Navy, despite its apparent recent track record in alleged crimes on the high seas.
The Iranian campaign so far strongly indicates the USN knows where every Iranian vessel is and that engagement is well beyond coastal waters. Once rescue operations are complete and the boat goes under again, it can be targeted but itβs also presumably beyond the range of ASW detection or engagement
If the submarine surfaced, it would be vulnerable to air attack! But it would also be rescuing survivors and protected by the law of the sea while it was doing so.
at a minimum, alerting Sri Lankan SAR to the location of the vessel and the estimated complement.
I find it hard to believe there is an Iranian patrol aircraft loitering above the wreck of the vessel ready to depth charge any submarine. If the American vessel stuck around long and close enough to record the explosion on periscope, they could have aided in recovering survivors or,
I think one thing missed by the Iran submarine discourse, legality aside, is whether or not the U.S. vessel *should* have rendered aid. I think they absolutely should have.

I was about to ask if the Army did All, Some, (or none) on their uniforms because I opted to cut out the NDSM/Training/GWOT/Good Conducts on my uniform but then I saw she was just wearing the βfresh out of AITβ stack.
I feel like I saw Spec-4s out of DLI with more chest candy than her.
Theyβre calling me the worst to ever do it
Yeah it probably is. Iβm lucky so far in that Korea is highly electrified, walkable, and a lot of the city buses are electric already (or somehow fuel cell).
Better things are definitely possible! Itβs a shame the average American voter and politician are a kind of amoeba that hate community!
I guess I understand that, but the energy of this thread is so condescending to June
People in here going like βbut what are the buses running off?!?β are making me lose my mind. I wonder whatβs more economically efficient: mass transportation or hundreds of citizens in individual cars? No way of knowing!
This is such an annoying comeback? Like yeah itβs bad for the economy, but bulk transport is still more efficient and those costs are not nearly as much a shock as the it is to the average driver?
i hate to be like um π€π actually the us military is a multifaith organization as we are bombing iran in an inexplicable war of aggression but i do sincerely believe the truth matters and amplifying misinformation is, like, bad.
There is an evangelical streak in the military officer class, but not one that strong or weird. The only way a message that eccentric is shared that widely is in a recorded command call or forcewide email and that would come with documentary evidence.
Something like what the complaint alleges likely has happened! There are lots of weird officers with strange beliefs who feel comfortable sharing it with their subordinates. But forty units and *thirty* installations? All saying the same exact thing? How many people do you know who believe this?
I am agnostic and have beliefs in-line with MRFF, but a quick review of even their website shows how obviously a one-man organization they are.

The story didn't seem to get picked up by the Guardian until New Republic and Military.com printed it. The former is, for lack of a better word, redditslop and does not verify. The latter was hollowed out by private capital in favor of freelance clickbait last year.

I run in a clan for Nuclear Option, a little sim-lite thing and I've been making FAA style airport diagrams for the different airbases in game. I don't usually post my art on here but I thought I'd share some of the things I've made.
Yeah. Iβve thought at some point Iβll just accept that nobody cares what I post and just lean in to my neocities once I figure out how to work 11ty.
that must be why there are so many trans people in brasil
