As a fellow freelancer, I am also panicking. But I did see a story about a few states (including Colorado and Nevada) launching state exchanges. Whether this will translate into affordable, real coverage is unclear.
A new analysis shows that health insurance premiums for Obamacare are set to soar next year, as financial help that subsidized the cost expires. Congress is not likely to extend the subsidies.

Former Washoe County (NV) Library director Jeff Scott abruptly resigned before a Library Board of Trustees meeting. Trustee Gianna Jacks attacked Scott over his support for LGBTQ-inclusive programming and unsuccessfully pushed for his ouster in late 2023.
