I've been watching Last One to Laugh and the Bob Mortimer of it all has had me properly, cathartically belly laughing in a way I haven't laughed at the telly in a long time. The world needs more Bob.

Her Desert Island Discs is particularly lovely.
I have long said this: Put. The. Menopausal. Stage. Managers. In. Charge.
As was yours!
@mindlessmunkey.bsky.social I was actually listening to an old playlist I made you! (Homeward Bound by Ben Kweller specifically.)
I genuinely think the best thing about getting older is that you'll suddenly remember a song you were obsessed with 15 years ago and being reunited with it brings a deep cellular level satisfaction like no other.
Swindonandon.
Swindon scenes on this, the last Monday of the longest January. Come at us, light. Come at us, payday. Come at us, joy.
Andrea, I am so genuinely excited for this. It's exactly what I want to watch on a cold winter's night. Put. It. In. My. Face.
I enjoy this very much. How excellent!
Howdy! I'm new here, but delighted to see that this is where all the top level blue sky thinking is happening.
I'm all ears.
It is exciting. Connecting with people on their journeys. Finding out where they're going and where they've been. Saying I'm not here forever, but for now I'm in Swindon train station and I'm thinking of you. I see you. Maybe that's why.
I've now been doing it so long that people I love send me their pictures of Swindon train station when they pass through. Just yesterday I got one from my aunt, who was on a day out, saying "exciting!" I love the connection it brings me.
It represents the excitement of going somewhere - anticipation being better than realisation. Escape and return. The journey itself being the thing. How we are very rarely London or Cardiff, but are actually Swindon train station. Figuratively speaking.
I do think there's a beauty to it. I like the architecture. I'm a fan. But it's also what it symbolises to me too. Half way to London from Cardiff and halfway home.
Here's a picture of Swindon train station. I've been taking pictures of Swindon train station every time I pass through for around 15 years. I have a lot of pictures of Swindon train station. I'm not even sure why.
