I was able to read it by using Google translate from my phone-camera. This quote is me saying Trump is putting loyalty to the test re: his Cabinet appointments and GOP loyalty in the Senate.
This was fun. I was interviewed by Asahi TV to talk about the election and the transition. I don't know Japanese at all so I don't know what the words over my face mean...But the interview was an hour and they used a lot of footage from it!
Had a nice experience keynoting a symposium on East Tennessee's Civil War this weekend. The war was a complicated mess in the Switzerland of America.
1) MAGA but credible: Ratcliffe, Stephen Miller, Homan, Witkoff, Collins, Sauer, Blanche
2) Standard GOP: Burgum, Rubio, Stefanik, Zeldin, Waltz
3) MAGA brain rot: Gabbard, RFK Jr, Gaetz
Noem and Hegseth straddle MAGA/credible and MAGA/brain rot. Huckabee straddles MAGA/credible and standard GOP
There are three types of Trump appointees:
1) MAGA but credible
2) Standard GOP
3) MAGA brain rot
All are personally loyal to Trump, but the rest of the GOP and the country will view the appointees very differently. Some appointees probably straddle two categories.
