Started January in Goa on a yoga retreat (which was AMAZING) and today I hit five stone weight loss after my gastric sleeve surgery.
Congratulations!!!!! I’ve just hit the 70lbs mark ♥️☺️
10 weeks post-op: 55 lbs ⬇️ FOREVER! 🎉 Just 2 lbs away from the next stone bracket - so close! Hoping to hit the lower end before my flight because flying while fat is such a struggle. Anyone else relate? ✈️

Finished structuring my PhD chapters, and OMG, I’m so excited about my research 🥰. Honestly, my mum dying back in 2021 was the push I needed to apply!
I think it’s a great way to organise information but my life is too chaotic to keep on track with it 🤣
Delighted to share that I’ll be heading to Morocco next July! Both of my papers, exploring public communication, #adoption practices, and #adoptee experiences in the UK, have been accepted for presentation at the 5th ISA Forum of Sociology. ☺️
I used Notion for the first two months of my PhD. I organised all my papers for my literature review and haven’t looked at it since 🤣🤣🤣

It’s been 7 weeks since I traveled to Turkey for a gastric sleeve, and I’m now 4 stone down! 🎉 This week alone, I lost 9 pounds 😳.
PS. For those who say it’s the easy way out—it’s really not. But it’s easier than living with the constant voices in my head telling me to eat.
6 weeks post-op gastric sleeve today, 3 pounds down this week, bringing my total to 41 pounds, including LRD 🎉. Just 2 pounds away from the next stone bracket 🤞🏾 for next week.
