Amateur drummer, political nerd, tech support geek, and GOPACKGO. Long COVID sucks. I also like photography (sometimes mine, but I also boost the great photography here on BlueSky). #Minneapolis resident π³οΈβπShe/Her/Ella

Tentacles of haphazard branches spring from a garry oak tree just outside my window. This old gnarly tree is covered in moss and just beginning to bud. Sunset unfolds beyond the branches bringing soft pastels with the tiniest touch of blue

Ugh. MAGA doesnβt care. To them Trump is appointed by Jesus himself.
This is the front page of the UK's Daily Telegraph, but our compromised news media in the US will not publish the same headline here.
Best pic of the day.

First of all, this is evil, but how exactly does this fit into the SAVE Act? Do you have to affirm you are against βmen in womenβs sportsβ or you canβt vote? Does the administration check your social media presence for trans references and bar you from voting ? I donβt get it.

DHS nominee Markwayne Mullin is one of the most active stock-traders in the Senate β and violated the STOCK Act against insider trading as recently as last August.
He currently holds stock in L3Harris, which has millions in contracts with ICE and FEMA.
The grift continues.

Itβs not a bad idea in the, but the Native Americans detained/abducted in Minneapolis were not even allowed to show any ID. This has been an ongoing ICE pattern.
Ya think?
The Apple Iie! My first computer! It had 128k of internal memory (not MGs but kilobytes)! It ran on an OS called Pro-DOS! But I never noticed it was gay; what an oversight.
Wait β¦ Department of Defense?
Hey #Maryland & #NewJersey you are up for #ICE operations. Be vigilant! #ICEOut There are many opportunities to learn from Defend612.org defend612.com/event/nation...
Well good, but are Congressional Democrats only going after the women in Trumpβs administration? Letβs get rid of MILLER!
I noticed KKKaroline referred to it back as the "Dept of Defenseβ when speaking about the billion dollar a day non-war in Iran.
Looks like can go back to being Gulf of Mexicoπ€·ββοΈπ
Listening to the news is scary. They give details about the bombings overnight that sound like we are entering WWIII, and they follow it with Marco Rubio stating βThis is not a war.β Orwell is laughing. #Iran
Really? π
So she ended her presser without getting any questions about her JOB, but shortly afterwards she posted a very polite tweet stating she was looking forward to the new job. Someone whispered in her ear.
OMG, Kristi Noem is is speaking live, and it appears she does not know she's been fired. Should be interesting if she takes questions.
Kristi Noem is out!! Fired via Truth Social as per usual.
Until recently (i.e., Trump) this was pretty standard. Get kids early, either in High School ROTC, or in early commitment to join after graduation, and offer the carrot of citizenship, tuition $$, belonging. But now US vets are being deported.

We tried that once in 1952; it didn't go so well..
I worked at home with #LongCOVID for 3 years then retired. I agree that wearing Real Clothes helps. Getting outside is also a big plus--even for 2 minutes. But I never packed a lunch. I enjoyed having access to a Real Kitchen for healthier food than a sandwich.
My Dad had Myasthenia Gravis. First symptoms came in 2005, and he thought he was 'in remission' by 2009 because he did not know MG has flares. Big shocker when it came back.
I have #longcovid that comes and goes. Any cold becomes another Long COVID episode with SOB and fatigue. Most recently, the PEM came back; i.e., exercise for more than 20 minutes, fatigue for 24-48 hours. Part of me is sick of this pattern, and I just want to push through it and exercise anyway.
It's the little things that matter.
