Based on what I saw back at Yorktown’s Spencer’s

Sonic the Fighters is a game where the ability to block is a privilege, not a right.

In this game, characters are given a maximum of five barriers within a set. In the event you run out of barriers, you will remain defenseless for the rest of the match.

Mario was my first "fandom." The first series that little-me hyper-fixated on. From the games to the cartoons to the comics (even the live action movie!), I was absolutely obsessed with this plumber and his world.

As a grown man, I still love this series, and hope to see many more years of Mario!
