Most American teenagers say it is important to them to graduate from college, with girls especially describing it as a key step for accomplishing their life goals, according to a new poll.

42% expressed confidence in the higher ed sector — either a “great deal” or “quite a lot.” That’s up six percentage points. Just 36% had confidence in both 2023 and 2024.
