yeah, love the soundtrack and yes..... I can easily imagine many rich people would be interested in funding such a project

#adaptability
I think this is the most important soft skill at the moment. If you do not have it, the #ai era must be super overwhelming for you.
AI was easy when it was just about prompts. Now, in agent tools like GitHub Copilot or Claude Code there are multiple solutions, like instructions, skills, agents, prompt files (commands).
I wrote all I know in one article based on one of my favourite TV series.

RECURSIVE LANGUAGE MODELS
super interesting - exploring in depth
I'm so proud of my Agent. It's working so hard!
๐ New blog post is live! Testing Google Pub/Sub locally just got a whole lot easier ๐ฅ
No cloud creds. No waiting. No cost.
Just realistic Pub/Sub testing, straight from your laptop.

what is your YAML chunking strategy?
just don't chunk it, dehydrate to JSON and chunk JSON
later rehydrate to YAML when agents asks for data
#chunking #rag
lol, it really does ๐
AI and security, hard to find a match ๐
Slack has entire "join" flow broken with dummy invite link. While open collective is a really small team and it's like fiance app where community money are, so you need security that works and is easy to maintain
unfortunately, it never was ๐
you have an idea already? ๐คฃ
but for small team this gives a lot of additional workflows to implement, password reset with email flows, 2fa and stuff. So for small team - that's just too much
Drama-Driven Funding
We have a new funding model for #opensource
Python F raised lots of money thanks to public drama about rejecting funds from US government. Tailwind is getting lots of donations now thanks to huge drama about AI killing FOSS.
This is where we are with open source funding.
it's pretty nifty, especially for your use case where you want to show high-level arch and then allow use to deep dive into specific section
isn't it about being efficient and delegating any security issues creator does not want to be responsibe for?
Single creators like easy flows. I'm working on something and I plan to allow login only through code in email or sms, that's it
did you play with likec4?

What are your New Year's resolutions?
I bet all on one card: no mobile phone in toilet ๐ช
lol :)
31.01-1.02
lol, definitely no boxes, by then @thulieblack.bsky.social will be in England, I hope, so boxes go to her ๐
do you need ketchup again? ๐
How many days do you plan to be there in Brussels?
Who's going to FOSDEM in January?
There is no API devroom or any API stand. I was thinking, maybe some co-located meetup? unconference style - but not necessarily. There are many other events already there: opensourceweek.eu
Or too late?
Yo, Christmas is coming, give AsyncAPI Spec a star.
