Both teams are terrible

Love that the Cubs are celebrating their playoff berth in Pittsburgh in front of the remaining 150 Pirates fans and another 100 Cubs fans
More people should take your stance. They have lost a lot of die hards with their shenanigans.
Canβt complain. Itβs usually entertaining seeing just how few hits Henry Davis can get in a 100 at bat stretch. How overrated Cruz can be after he βbroke the home run derbyβ golden years for the Pirates as we wind down another profitable season.
if you're reading this, I promise spending less time online (especially the *bad* places) and more time experiencing reality and making real connections will improve your mental health.
longer form content will also improve your cognition and mental sharpness.
Hi Mitch. Hope all is well
Hi Chas
Cubs fans treated to another road win, but can you imagine going to PNC last night as a Pittsburgh Pirates fan? The worst team in sports has sunk to a new low after hyping up guys like Henry Davis and Oneil Cruz as βSuperstars in the makingβ but hey, the team is EXTREMELY PROFITABLE. There is that.
Not losing any sleep over Charlie Kirk
MLB TV ratings are up across the board. The sport has been gaining popularity. The idea that owners are going to risk losing games in order to demand a salary cap is ludicrous. Baseball has more parity than most major sports. Donβt think that the CBA in 2027 is going to save your low revenue team.
No one has any patience anymore. Giants fans already clamoring for Dart.
Are there fans who are seriously banking on a salary cap? I sincerely hope that's not a majority view!!
Pirates fans are really gullible. Most of them are gone, so the remaining few will believe just about anything they can cling to
Good athlete stuck in a bad offense.
It happens. My advice from personal experience is just work right through it. You might wake up tomorrow feeling better
The biggest part of the Pirates sham is they hype guys like Oneil Cruz & Bubba Chandler to be the saviors of the team. Imagine how bad they would be without Skenes. Now you have fans banking on a salary cap that is not going to happen. Sad.
In the minor leagues. π
Thanks for the article. Here is the fight. Owners: β
How about a salary cap system?β
Players: βNever going to happenβ
Owners: βOk. Next issue.β
Funny MLB is talking about expansion when there is one team in every division that is practically begging to be relegated.
No league has more parity than MLB. The Brewers have the best record and itβs not great. Also, ironically, Milwaukee is the smallest market in MLB. Poor timing for commissioner. Also, we shouldnβt be rewarding teams like the Pirates for anything.
The Dodgers are coming to Pittsburgh tonight and itβs laughable that some fans still think an MLB salary cap will be on the table in 2027. There is only one person pushing this narrative that I know of. A guy named DK in Pittsburgh. Heβs only doing it for the clickbait. Obviously its not happening.
Amazing how many friends Iβve lost to Fox News. Something they do hypnotizes people
Sounds like Bob Nutting is running the valet parking service
Pennsylvania is weird, man. They were pushing this βREAL IDβ A few years back. I go to renew my drivers license so I asked about it. Even brought my passport but it wasnβt enough. βSorry, we need 2 other forms of ID plus 2 pieces of mail. π
Definitely not worth losing games over. The sport is wide open. If you make an effort anyone can win. I havenβt heard too many complaints from younger players. If you do well you will get paid eventually. Letβs hope nothing happens.
Sadly, some people in Pittsburgh will still attend baseball games in August & September. I really hope the owners donβt cancel games in 2026. Teams like the Pirates should not be rewarded for not giving a shit. MLB does not need a salary cap. There is more parady than other sports already
Thank you for sharing this on here
Pirates are saving 9 mil from the next several years by trading KeβBryan Hayes. Reds fans wonβt love the move, but they really needed to improve their defense
Last night was Yinzerpalooza in Pittsburgh. How many of the 25,000 I attendance at the Pirates game know anything about this years team? 1/3? Maybe, but that might be generous. It was fireworks night. In typical fashion they lost 10-1 to go 20 games under on the season.
Why do you care?
