this obviously requires well payed animators to be able to pull off, i just like the middle ground they hit so much. nuanced shapes, fun details but clear contours and linework. so pretty

the knights of guinevere designs are a great example of making character designs simple enough to not torture animators but detailed enough to be orgnaic, interesting and un-sterile
