Man, if I could properly run Linux on that machine I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Apple is making some excellent hardware right now, but I just can't get on board with the OS.
I never did thank you for the Death Generator. You even have Brain Lord, which is amazing to see as it always feels like I'm the only person who loves that game.

Yeah, I've seen 4k77-83. Didn't know about 99 though. I'm currently waiting for my oldest to be old enough for Star Wars to watch them all again. I can't wait 😀

Speaking from Canada I almost hope they do pass the law. It would encourage more people to ditch Windows and move to Linux which would be a great win.
If I remember right you're in the GTA. I highly recommend something like Dricore subflooor. I finished mine 2 years ago and it's been amazing. I've had a basement with and without, and the difference is night and day. The floor doesn't feel cold to the touch like it would with vinyl on concrete.

Nah, some of the Mario and Sonic at the Olympic games are actually pretty good. Not amazing, but pretty good.

Sometimes it can be a relatively brief but dominant slang that really dates something as well. Saying someone is "the bomb" really feels like a reference to a specific time in the 90's. Or hell, tubular sounds so surfer dude from the 80's. The same words can mean different things in different years.
Yeah, it seems like any place that still makes them in store, way over prices the donuts. I really don't like the coffee shop ones anymore but I used to obsess over them as a kid. Specialty places do have some good ones, but they're like $4 each now. Makes buying a dozen more than a good restaurant

I used to have a screensaver for an old Windows machine that ran a grid of NES emulators all with TAS replays. I think it was configurable and I had it typically running a 4 x 4 grid. That was like 15 years ago, and it ran quite smoothly even then. really fun to watch, but not good for idle power.

Oh man, I'm in there like 4 times lol. For what it's worth, with the exception of Diddy Kong Racing, which has had an enormous effort by so many talented people, all of the stuff that's mine is unlikely to get taken to any final state any time soon. It feels disingenuous to have most listed.

Yup! It got used for Mickey's Speedway USA which is less surprising. It did actually survive to be used in Dinosaur Planet, and even Starfox Adventures as well, but it was quite heavily modified by that point. We have definitive proof of a lot of the code surviving through the different games though
