Just getting back into the book chapter after the weekend and I called it.

TERFs and their friends looooove to pull out the "Queer is a reclaimed slur" point, which is true, but then they always present a fantasy timeline where it was reclaimed in like the last 10 years when Queer Studies programs have existed since the 90s and activists have been using it for 40 years.

Isn't this an argument that the files *should* have been released? The institutional failure to investigate and prosecute Epstein shouldn't mean his crimes remain secret.
