Some aspects of social media are great, others aren't. You might consider a break yourself. Take care, everyone. 2/2
Though I don't always succeed, I try to be thoughtful about social media use. I take one day off of social media every week, and once a year I take a several-week break.
It's now time for that longer break - so with very few exceptions I'll be off for awhile. 1/2
Wow is right.
Have you ever once seen the New York Times quote Trump like this?
Submissions received by 2 March will receive priority consideration. This is from the POGIL Project, but no previous POGIL experience necessary. Priority consideration to biology, A&P, math, CS, or chemistry. #chemsky

You can't... repeal... a scientific finding. At that point it's just called lying about it.
My takeaway is the artist was told to draw painstakingly draw each hair in Platner's beard and then what they thought someone called Jasmine Crockett would look like
Neat idea! The Art of Gathering by Priya Parker could provide some useful class readings.

This right here is quality Bluesky content.
Oh no.
No band this year! The final performance of Al D. Hyde and the KeyTones was at the last BCCE, in 2024. It was a good 20 year run.
As usual, we are running the Engaging Students in Physical Chemistry symposium at this summer's Biennial Conference on Chemical Education.
Abstracts are due 1 March. We hope you can join us! #chemsky #chemchat #pchem π§ͺ
She spent the whole morning performatively screaming at Congressmen, but this image of Bondi saying nothing and refusing to turn around will be the only real takeaway from her testimony today.
This speaks volumes.
Outstanding. My favorite part might be dense bean salad.
A dresser inside a museum in New York City has been discovered as a secret stop on the Underground Railroad β the first of its kind discovered in Manhattan in over 100 years
π This. Questions like: What are the systemic factors at play and how can we change the systems?
Who could have known? Oh wait. All of us. All of us could (and should) have known.
Excellent!
Okay, Iβve heard all the criticisms. I agree now that my plan to create a Jonestown on Mars was foolish and dangerous. I will instead be building a much more achievable Jonestown on the Moon
Oh that's excellent.
A worldview predicated on the idea of success being a zero-sum game. No concept of mutual success being, you know, good for society.
