Yesterday brought the amazing news that @streetartcities.bsky.social had undertaken a vote recount and had reclassified @peachzz.bsky.social’s Sheffield mural “Reverie” in second place in their Best of 2024 global street art awards! 🏆 An incredible achievement for Peachzz & brilliant for Sheff too!

Congratulations to @peachzz.bsky.social, that’s an amazing achievement 👏

The nominated piece is “Reverie”, the huge mural in Pound’s Park that Peachzz painted over ten days in June 2024. It was recently voted (by a landslide!) Sheffield’s favourite street art in a poll by @streetartsheffield.com so I know you all love it as much as I do! 😍 #Peachzz

Designed by Edward Thompson, Mayflower was built in 1948 at the North British Locomotive Company in Glasgow. It was employed for hauling mixed traffic trains on British Railways' Eastern, North Eastern, and Scottish Regions until it was bought for preservation in 1967 🚂 #Sheffield
