πFinished reading Devil In The Stack. A writer decides to learn to code with Python while also digging into the history, culture and the possible threats it can have on society. A dense book I would recommend for those who want a thoughtful perspective on coding.

π As I broaden my reading horizons, I came across a challenging (in a good way) science fiction book called There Is No Antimemetics Division. I loved the concept of the "monsters" being ideas or entities that resist being known or remembered.

Claude's new constitution
A new approach to a foundational document that expresses and shapes who Claude is
Anthropic announced their new constitution for Claude. Many organizations tend to do things like this as lip service, BUT Anthropic actually baked it into their training of their models! Kudos to them truly incorporating in their systems! ππ»

π Finished reading The Tex-Mex cookbook... Wait... Can you "read" a cookbook? Yes! Found this on a Half-Price Books adventure with the Tenderoni which has a lot of history around how Tex-Mex food came to be what it is today! Was excited to find the previous owner's recipes in the book as well.

A Challenging Year, What Helped Me
I've been keeping a secret from social media. Why? I did something at this time in December 2022 and was unsure if I would keep up with it for the year (my worry was another New Year's Resolution that...
Instead of reading my book while waiting for him to come on stage, I talked to other stoics from a variety of backgrounds and was so good to hear their stories about how stoicism helped them! If you are interested, here is what I wrote about it:
