Camden’s oldest tree The Brunswick Plane, one of the ten Great Trees of London - planted around 1796 during the creation of Brunswick Square Gardens.
A similar 200 yr old Great Plane tree planted around 1820 at Euston Square Gardens - was cut down by HS2 to make way for ‘utility works’.
