I just watched the shooting video. It's a horrific beating and execution in the middle of the street.
If local and state officials don't move to arrest everyone involved for murder, they need to resign. Making arrests will de-escalate the situation. Do nothing and this is going to explode.

One of the stories that makes me the saddest out of this ICE invasion is one out of the Minnesota Star Tribune today about ICE agents eating at a little Mexican restaurant in the small town of Willmar, Minn, —and then, when they were done, arresting some of the workers.
Please keep posting positives/the resistance/hope in Minneapolis. I’m in an outer suburb and it’s… grim here. Just 35 minutes outside of the metro, people are cheering ICE on. Being a “blue dot in a red county” in a heavily targeted state is exhausting.
But we’re Minnesotans so… we persist.

It will become increasingly important for people to take video and protect and save that video so that when there is finally an accounting for what’s happening, there will be evidence.
I’m seeing posts from people (outside of MN) about how US citizens should carry their passports.
And let me say that *inside* MN, we are calmly responding to requests with: “No, I don’t have to show you any documentation.”
Because that’s how you protect everyone, regardless of immigration status.
ICE took the staff of a Chinese restaurant right across the street from me. No warrants, didn’t ask for papers. Just took the ENTIRE STAFF in the middle of business hours. A business that has been here for 30+ years. Locally and family owned.

Last night, the Department of Health and Human Services sent termination letters to employees who were originally fired in April but temporarily reinstated due to a lower court ruling. The Supreme Court cleared the way last week for those firings to proceed.
