I support pacifism, but others may need to fight if pushed to a civil war. At the very least, I suggest people get pepperspray and know their escape routes, or places to hide, study survival skills, self defense. There are ways to be a proactive pacifist and live another day.

Republicans have the majority in the supreme court, congress, and the senate. If we want the Democratic party to be progressive, more progressives need to run for office. If we want a strong opposition party, midterm elections are in 21 months

Trump wants to tax scholarships. He wants to attack young people seeking education. He is going to increase interest on student loans and imprison young people who tried to educate themselves. He is a fucking monster and I hope he will be blamed as well.

Being misunderstood is so incredibly painful sometimes.

And not just people. Most businesses. Healthcare. Education. Public works.

I wasn't praising it. I was saying it would become a massive weapon in Elon's hands.

Google is beginning to answer questions again, but for a long time it wasn't. I don't know if people are aware that Chatgpt has replaced search engines for millions and millions of people.

And hating OpenAI or chatgpt is not something that gives me power over it. They are putting it in schools. If it's there, it could be either useful (and if you don't think it is that is VALID), or it can be incredibly harmful. More so than now.

I instantly got misunderstood and blocked by people. I hate generative AI and the way it commits copyright infringement and theft and is destroying creatives. I wasn't praising the platform. I was acknowledging that available information being more corrupted by Musk would be awful.

I'm not saying to trust it. Chatgpt has given me more information about what Trump and Elon Musk are doing to attack the country than any other platform. I'm saying he wants to control the spread of information AND misinformation and we cannot let him do that.

Good. We need more civil disobedience against fascism and we need it now.

I'm certainly wondering if this might be time (or past time) for more peaceful people on the left to arm themselves and get some weapons training for self defense. And maybe start privately strategizing outside of social media as well. The republican party is openly committing terrorism.
