I had a new neighbor move in. I’m thinking now directly below me. Anyway, she has a boyfriend that, maybe once a week, police knocks on her door. Repeatedly. They shout at each other & she always ends up SHRIEKING at him to get out. Pisses me off bc I hate the cops, but also don’t want you to die.
Since it’s almost Christmas and Yule, I decided to scroll back and watch the last two years of 4th of July fireworks I recorded on my phone just to spite the people that say “you’ll never look at those again”.
The best recipes include vibes, somehow. In measurements and/or time and/or temperature…. Always something. My favorite cookies (orange drops) and baked based on vibes. I asked my mom temperature and time and she’s like “I just guess”
The first thing that comes to mind is sugar cookies but does anyone have any other minimal ingredient holiday cookie they love?
Not to “defend” myself, I could stay decorated to Halloween OR the Winter Solstice all damn year, if I wanted, but the lights make me happy.🥰
I’m planning to decorate for Christmas/Yule this week. Ya can’t stop me. Lol. 😂 I am planning on trying to make some basic cookies this week and a bunch later…. Probably around Thanksgiving.
If it’s going to snow, it needs to stick, turn the area in an winter wonderland, and not inconvenience me. Just be pretty.

Alright, my friends husband is on some fuckshit. She thinks the likelihood is low BUT he is exhibiting… odd behaviors. He keeps insinuating shes cheating (she’s not).
All this talk about food stamps & how conservatives just don’t care has me thinking about when my therapist told me she’s not convinced “laziness” exists. She seems to believe it’s a capitalist conspiracy designed to make people feel obligated to submit themselves to giving away too much labor.
My school just had lost a long time member of the faculty&had an intern to write their public obit. Unfortunately, the name was fairly common&the intern chose to use AI to write their obit for the school site. So, there was a scramble to take it down, apologize to the family, and write a new one.
Going through some hormonal changes, it seems. Most of my life, it’s been rare to get zits to begin with, but having more than 2 at a time just isn’t the norm for me. I currently have a few. I also seemed to have scratched myself on my face like an infant.
