Burn out comes from holding all of that so tightly wound in my brain. But I've got a week off. So there's time to let go. Switch.
And when I have a quiet moment to take my mask off and just let go of my control of time/information I feel so much better. So when artists or leaders have NO concept of those things and waltz around I feel both jealous and like I'm gonna totally crash out.
As a ND coping mechanism I've become an over communicator - I will put everything in an email- record all meetings- put things in a diary- double check everything - set 10 alarms- use chat gpt to tone check I'm not being rude (1/2)

TO A POOR OLD WOMAN munching a plum on the street a paper bag of them in her hand They taste good to her They taste good to her. They taste good to her You can see it by the way she gives herself to the one half sucked out in her hand Comforted a solace of ripe plums seeming to fill the air They taste good to her
Poem by William Carlos Williams.
