Groups like For Women Scotland justify the egregious harm they cause trans people by saying they don't believe trans people exist/are real. This allows them to discriminate against and bully trans people with impunity.
Trans people are real though. Trans people exist.

Statement: Effective immediately, we will no longer cooperate with the EHRC. We no longer recognise the EHRC as a human rights body. It is no longer independent, and we will not engage with them. We urge other orgs to do the same.

After an emergency meeting of the committee, Aberdeen Trans Action has unanimously agreed to support and abide by @tacc.org.uk's statement, withdrawing recognition of the EHRC.
