I like to imagine that after joining the wardens and going through his whole character development, Carver eventually ends up the more mature one in this sibling relationship lmao since Violeta avoids introspection and growth practically on purpose

Bethany, always wishing to be the peacekeeper, I think kinda swallowed her misgivings. Violeta's relationship witch Carver on the other hand was never that cordial, they're constantly arguing, but it's kinda all the more honest for that.

This is the Hawke family we're talking about, so of course it's complicated and dysfunctional <3 Violeta loves and is deeply protective over her little siblings. As a mage, she always used to be closer to Bethy, but she easily becomes overbearing and infantilizing.

I do technically have other da girlies too, pretty much all of my pcs are women. However Violeta IS definitely my most developed oc so far, as well as the one I just think about the most </3
