Thinking of rewriting my terrain shader to see if the layering and projection could be optimised, the cool thing with unreal hlsl is that you can mix it with the regular nodes, though I don’t think you can make a fully custom shader
I feel like post process stuff is more relevant for hlsl as well, though I’ve mostly used it to read from the z-buffer this far

You’re getting good!! What resources can you recommend for learning hlsl? Been doing some custom shaders in unreal but I have a hard time finding good documentation
