only thing preventing me from outbreak is the kneecap and offspring dates in crystal palace in london that weekend as i know i will likely be able to get press for both and won't have to worry about accom! going for all of trees I think - very happy w/ neck deep
wrote some words on Rock Werchter and the acts I'm excited to see this summer.

CMAT! The Vaccines! PUP! House of Protection! on the same fucking billing is just bonkers and yet it somehow works.
One of my favourite gigs last year was them on a boat in Rotterdam with unlimited alcohol for us and them for the length of the gig. They crushed it and were so smashed, and had a gig at 8pm and it was only 11!
Also are you doing any of trees/atg/radar/damnation this year? Aiming for all 4!!
Come London!!!!
nice run of gigs next week.
against the current for some pop punk at the garage
bruise control at the victoria - nicest punk band around
cmat at ally pally (it's euro-country, baby)
reviewing all three. actually surreal.
some shows i've seen recently:
big special at the roundhouse: all bands should come onto Duel of the Fates, and they're a political band, of course they are - and they should be!! barnstorming punk
deadletter's new album is great and the pub shows were fantastic. more pub shows, please.
booked to see THE IMMORTAL MAN and THE SECRET AGENT on Friday. Can't wait. Be good to be back in Brum again.
David Byrne because sometimes we deserve good things.
expecting the same love that all you showed for angine de poitrine to show for mandrake handshake
I be doing this tonight
two show one night
Matt Goodwin meeting with Farage to discuss his by-election defeat
let's go greens. what a win. amazing how badly labour fumbled a home run at election.
masterpiece! got a few more To movies to watch before they leave Criterion but loved EXILED
Arctangent adding so many good names to its lineup I absolutely adore that final drop
Cardiacs (!!!), The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza (!!!) Scaler! Witch Fever! Battlesnake silent discoooo
Oh my god that house shootout if I ever give a Johnnie To movie less than 5 stars Iβm deleting this app

if only there weren't a readily available film to watch that highlighted a guy's experiences with tourette's or if only there wasn't a guy who had been spending his entire life campaigning to raise awareness of tourette's who was at the actual ceremony
Never a big Narnia guy but this 6 seconds typifies everything I love about British television.
jealous. PVA were incredible at Prima last year.
so so disheartening to see the sheer amount of casual ableism thrown about today
Safety Last
Knight of the Seven Kingdoms episode 4
Heated Rivalry episode 2
heartbreaking to report that work have rejected my AL request for Deadletter so that now will not be happening.
Considering bunking off anyway.
(if HR sees this, this is a joke and I will not be)
has america's inability to understand Tourette's made it over to here yet? baffled by the sheer amount of Americans, including self-identifying leftists, who just don't know what Tourette's is? get your knowledge checked. more shameful that free palestine got edited out + swearing didn't.
absolutely despairing when I posted the February 22nd bit from Hot Fuzz yesterday and everyone thought it was my birthday the film really did not make it out of the UK at all
Gigs this weeek
Wednesday at the Roundhouse - indie should go down a storm there.
Thursday off to Brighton for some Shoegaze with Maria Somerville
Friday a free Deadletter pub crawl with free beer
Rounding off the weekend with a Knives and Callous Daoboys show at Underworld. Time of death. 9pm!
NO OTHER CHOICE tonight. THE SECRET AGENT on Wednesday. Good to be back at the cinema regularly now - think I'll try and aim for 2 nights a week. If not more.
Watching SAFETY LAST (1923)
