though a good chunk of that was. just physically traveling around/through garlemald on foot. and figuring out how the hell to get across the border into ala mhigo at some point. and then having to do it again eventually to enter eorzea/gridania (starting city) for ARR!
grew up frustrated he was limited in where he could go and what he could do (on account of. being a hrothgar child in garlemald.)
but the five year period between 1.0 and ARR cemented that as rough as it was it for him, it was also fun going to new places and experiencing everything there
