My sister recently told me that it must be really sad I can't see images in my head, and I should totally try and "fix" it if that's possible. To which I said... its not sad, I dont actually care, and i am just fine as i am. Its not something that needs fixing LOL

I did not know until I was already a young adult that people COULD see images in their head. I thought that people saying their art didnt look like "the image in their head" was just a metaphor for saying it didn't come out right or how they wanted it to lmao

LRP I can't see images in my head— never have, never will be able to— but I don't hide behind that as an excuse and I won't accept it as an excuse for the use of genai or not being able to create art yourself. Your workflow might have to be a bit different, but that's all. It's very doable

If an artist isn't able to visualise their ideas on paper (or on the screen) without the use of genAI, they are not an artist. I know some artists who aren't capable of visualising things in their head, yet they can still create stunning art. I know others who brainstorm their ideas and compositions with literal scribbles and stick figures, only to end up with a beautifully rendered piece. There is absolutely no excuse for a self-respecting artist to use genAI at any point during their process.

Someone over on Instagram saying that genAI is bad for art, but can still be used by artists who have trouble visualising their ideas.

i think some ppl just enjoy shiny hunting without any assist; like ppl who dont get the shiny charm on purpose. And tbh, I understand it, cause I've found shiny hunting to not be as enjoyable in some games when its way too easy & effortless. its hard to explain, but the low odds make it more fun

My WoL's Azem, Selena, is actually sort of the cause of the final days. Venat is her wife, but Hermes was additionally her partner. Her relationship with him was one that was mostly one sided, however, with Hermes pining after her and Selena manipulating him. She pushed him into sending Meteion out.

If you're doing callout posts about artists creating fictional taboo content, you may not consider yourself a fascist, but you are one. You are their stupid tool at the bare minimum. The good news is you can stop doing that at any time

Predictably there are a small number of people already going "whuuuh I'm not fascist just bc I hate some taboo art!" Exactly what I said, read it again. Are you reporting artists? Are you making callout posts? Hating a type of art does not make you fascist, but suppressing its right to exist does
