the question wasn't really about this. i've played all of these expansions and i've been a player for over 20 years. it's more like a hypothetical which one would be more interesting for this guy to witness from a roleplaying perspective sort of thing.

Help me pick the expansion I should make my Haranir guy do! This is semi-in-character stuff because he wants to learn more about the history of the surface. I'm torn between:
-MoP
-Cata
-Legion
-PERHAPS BFA (he may want to see the events around Why Teldrassil burned)

have had this since xpac launch because i never stop collecting mounts but it's definitely very funny to already have it vs having to grind. the number will go up regardless.

I won't judge people for buying items off of the shop at all, but please be informed that Hearthsteel is predatory and an awful set up compared to what it should be.

the alt KT model needs a lot more work to be even on par with the most neglected of allied races as it LITERALLY only has like 3 hair and skin colors and one face. not an exaggeration. but literally any of this would be great. parity between belf and velf hair styles and colors would do a lot!

at least for a little while, please, eugh.

pandaren have had a few more like fur colors added, and the ladies and have a tail no matter what fur color you have, which is neat! but their model has remained the same for 14 years. granted i think it's aged better than even the WOD redos but everyone needs some love. stop doing allied races.

by this point, not including worgen and goblin who were late to the redo party and pandaren who haven't been touched since MOP, the core playable races haven't seen a major update since WoD. that's like ten years dude. and every new race that comes out has hair highlights, awesome textured hair, etc

an occasional announcement about "new customizations" usually meaning like what three hair colors on average and nothing else, for existing races is just kinda sad. i wouldn't even announce just three hair colors if that's all i was going to put out man. go through each race one at a time and revamp

as much as i like the new races though can we have a break from making up more new things to add and focus on revamping customization for the older races and older allied races? every new thing that comes out puts into sharp focus what the rest of the game's playable races lack.

and unfortunately they will continue to exist. best thing to do is to slap them on ignore and tell all your friends to do so too. "but it was just a joooke". don't care. wasn't funny. get blocked.

thinks about the orcs wandering around roleplaying racist kor'kron. the ones who "wore vulpera pelts" in their at-a-glances when vulps came out. the racist comment directed at one of my vulps not even a couple years later when i was running a booth with my guild. they're all the same people.
