It's a scary time for so many people. I know that I'm mostly safe as a straight-passing, white woman. But so many people I love are not. And I want to keep them all safe.

That's the part that brings me down.

So I have to focus on one thing at a time that I can do.

All I can do is hold my loves a little closer.

I feel useless and tired. So I am making something beautiful.

Now, as I try to save those memories in another format, I'm faced with the reality that the twenty years of input cannot be fully replicated.

As I migrate from the other social media platform, I'm reflecting on my use of social media.

I post things that I want to remember: things my children say/do, personal struggles/triumphs, etc. I document my existence just as generations before me journaled/scrapbooked.
