Snort. Are you watching Armageddon? It's on TV right now.

I have got the munchies today. I think it's the steroid taper I'm on for my asthma flare. I've been on so much prednisone over the years that I don't have many side effects anymore but apparently, I still have this one.

Six pm and it's still light out. Yay!

And it's been in the low 50s today so my windows have been all day. Once the pollen starts, my windows will be closed and my A/C on.

This is *nothing* dignified about wearing a cheap baseball cap that promotes yourself to the otherwise solemn ceremony to receive the bodies of the troops you had killed to distract from your bad economy and rampant pedophilia.

I'm getting groceries today, however, I still need the remaining $305 for more groceries & other needs. I'll need $140 more specifically for more groceries within two weeks. If you can help out, any amount is appreciated & reposts help too.

i had a great conversation with this reporter and overall feel this is a really balanced piece exploring what might be going on with this shift to "first person or bust" that has taken over romance.

My current cat, and the one before him, likes to chew plants and flowers. When I have flowers, I have to put them where he can't reach. Which is typically an out of the way corner where I don't really see them. OFC, I forget to water them. Sigh.

Is there one shred of evidence that drag shows—something done in theatre for millennia—causes any kind of harm? If not, then why ban it?

Photo of a Robin-sized bird on a spiky bush branch. Brownish-grey on back and head, whitish bell and throat with buffy sides and dark streaking. Thin down-curved bill that is orangish at base but dark from midpoint to tip.

While I was in AZ this week for sad reasons, I also saw incredible birds. (TY, birds! Seriously life savers.) I was mostly able to ID them, because I've studied up, hoping to visit family later this year. But I'm going through photos and found this unknown bird. Is this a Sage Thrasher? Help! #birds

This woman, US citizen living in Skokie, was detained at Ohare yesterday, taken to Broadview, then transferred to a detention facility in Wisconsin, now released. We know all this not because of DHS, who repeatedly denied that they even had her, but because her phone was pinging in those locations.

The condo complex has no water this morning. Someone is coming to fix the problem. In the meantime, it's been a couple hours, I can't flush the toilet, shower, brush my teeth, wash the dishes, etc. Sigh.

Costco is also part of the recall.

We've got some frozen fried rice to throw away. We always take the bags out of the box so we can tuck them in spots in the freezer, so a refund isn't really plausible. www.seattletimes.com/business/tra...

I always said if I had kids, I would have had to work at least part-time. I would not have been a good full-time mom. I love my students and I love giving them back to their parents, lol.

Yes, socialization is important. A good daycare with good loving, professional staff is key. I worked w/a toddler teacher who refused to hold or hug them. Why the EFF are you working with toddlers? I held and hugged those kids; the ones who wanted it.

ICO writes to Meta over 'concerning' AI smart glasses report Videos, including of glasses-wearers using the toilet or having sex, are sometimes reviewed by a Kenya-based subcontractor.

Last year when I was checking into a hotel, the desk person was wearing Meta glasses. I kindly asked them to take them off. They were annoyed. I said, “I do not consent to you looking at my credit card and ID with Meta glasses on.” My instincts were correct: www.bbc.com/news/article...
