Thank you for connecting. I do know the rules of anapestic and scansion. I just choose to write them to my speech pattern. I find that more interesting for me. Lowry could paint portraits but liked painting stick men.
One little critism that limerick is rather dull.

They can be read as individual books but there are a few threads running through them, the character arcs etc relationships and the working dynamic does develope as they go.

Hi Jim,
I did all my own bits to be honest. Due to my health problems I cant commit to anything trad publishers required. A publisher should cover those costs. You get it as good as you can & then an editor/agent/you find a publisher. Never pay for publishing.
You create & they sell it.

I'd recommend buying the artists & writers 2026 contacts book. A big red book. It's full of information on agents & publishers. It's also got good advice on pitching your manuscript, covering letters etc.
Before you send anything off, make sure the manuscript is as polished as possible
