Well done! :)
I'm kickstarting a TTRPG, starting today! It's a card-drawing heist game (no dice), good for one-shots, and high-stakes Ocean's 11 style play.
The fnding is all or nothing, so if you back, you only pay if I reach my humble £600 goal.
Go on, support it!

Preschoolers and, to a lesser extent, chimpanzees but possibly not capuchin monkeys consider abstract patterns in sampled evidence to guide efficient foraging
sciencedirect.com/science/arti...
Prior research found that long-tailed macaques may be prone to distraction and exhibit poorer inhibitory control abilities compared to other primates. With this study, we could show that they can exhibit patience when their needs (reduced cognitive distraction) are adequately met. (4/4)
In the current study, we tested the effect of reward value on the monkeys performance in the exchange task. When we reduced the value of the exchange item, the monkeys displayed significantly improved abilities to delay gratification. (3/4)
This work was a follow-up of our data collection for the @manyprimates.bsky.social Delay of Gratification (MP2) call. During MP2, we had only 1 instance of reward exchange. We suspected this performance wasn’t truly representative of our monkeys’ capacity to delay gratification. (2/4)

domain-context combinations. Contrary to our expectations, even the oldest children performed poorly.
Our findings are at odds with previous research showing that 4-year-olds rationally recruited optimal partners for cooperative tasks. (7/8)
