Damn typo. It works if you say the word in Spanish, I suppose. Get the "j" in an authentic Scouse accent :-)

I love that, if he goes for an easy target, he throws the joke away. "Everyone else says that, but it's not true - as my Aunty Beryl said when they found her with 15 cases of stolen shampoo hidden in her shed".

DWLit returns (a week late) with incredible contributions from @hairofthehound.bsky.social, Ian Potter, and @monstermaker.bsky.social, as we discuss the recent Gallifrey One convention, hear a song held over from The Nightmare Fair, and dig deep into Mindwarp and... The Muppet Show.
I had such an extreme "Ohhhh" moment about five mins before the end. Love that the story says "I've told you everything you need to know".
Last night's film was The Life of Chuck (2014). I knew nothing about it in advance, except the director and who wrote the novel.
Left me sobbing for half an hour because I'd been preparing myself for a scary twist but it was just very kind. Up there with Shawshank and Stand by Me. Perfect.
My guess is Bonnie & Clyde by Georgie Fame:

Good point..I mean Sanders, don't I?
Obviously it's Clive Dunn for Todd ;-)
Ian Lavender as Hindle, with John Le Mesurier as Todd.
Decided to try and mix The Two Ronnies theme tune with Tricky by Run-DMC. The mid-way tempo change was a delight to try and work around. www.youtube.com/watch?v=m6Z4...
Shhh. Don't say anything or everyone will want one :-)
Going on an adventure to Chester.
Just picking up on the Juliet Bravo query in this ep, I assume it was called this because Juliet is "the only woman" in the phonetic alphabet and Bravo, also in the phonetic alphabet, is just "Well done".
They could have called it Juliet Delta, to match Jean Darblay's initials, but Bravo is better.

I have a trigger response to One of Our Dinosaurs is Missing now I know that replica dino skeleton was used in Star Wars. Apparently that dino was based on the same one Terrance saw in the Natural History Museum, which has a story of its own: carnegiemnh.org/dippy-in-sta...
The killer sounds like David Graham. Specifically Parker!
Tomight's film is What Have You Done to Solange? (1972), Italian horror shot in London. The dubbing is gorgeous with loads of chirpy cockernee types.
Think about it - why does anyone have a gun on the Death Star?
Nobody knows it exists except people who work there.
Without spoilers as to why, I reckon Pluribus had a perfect final line. I really don't care about a second season. Just end it there. Answering questions will only undermine it.
Doctor Who Literature returns and we're joined by Anthony & Alasdair from @2broad2deeppod.bsky.social, the brilliant podcast covering Jason's beloved 1990s New Adventures novels. Dragonfire (TV episode and book) gives us much to discuss, and @monstermaker.bsky.social has a great new song.
Just had a tumble. All very embarrassing and silly, made slightly less bad by being helped up by a driver who turned out to be my uber driver. A ยฃ5 tip well earned there.
But owww!!!!
... and yes, it's all about that chorus. Shameful, eh? :-)
