The net zero sector is growing three times faster than the overall UK economy.
22,000 net zero businesses, employ almost a million people in full-time jobs. The average annual wage in the businesses was Β£5,600 higher than the national average.
In 2024 the net zero economy grew by 10% and generated Β£83bn in gross value added (GVA). NET ZERO IS THE FUTURE. Stats taken from Confederation of British Industry (CBI)
The net zero economy is growing three times faster than the overall UK economy while providing well-paid secure jobs.
Now is the time to go further and faster towards net zero to bring down bills and emissions and provide good jobs.
