The βdonβt rush to negative judgementβ crowd uses the βbad guy goneβ to kinda of be in favor. But it is tepid at best
Todd is gone for a minute and the cats are everywhere now!?!
I think you are unnecessarily surrendering the research process to AI.
One analogy Iβve been thinking of is students learn better with a peer than with an expert tutor. In large part, this is bc the student is skeptical of the peer, and critically thinks. Treat AI like a peer, not an expert, imo.
Why not? You donβt have to surrender critical thinking to AI. You can. It makes it easy to. But I still think it is very plausible to ask AI, critically think about what it generates and the lead yourself to something totally new that wasnβt where you started out intended to go.
Wasnβt it even worse? In that, a positive test was revealed after the appeal was decided. But because the appeal was granted to the player, the whole thing was to be kept private and MLB was pissed?
Arike is made for the moment
Itβs literally Horstβs job to convince the owners to get rid of Doc. If he canβt do that, he is a total and complete failure
Mist has to attack her. She canβt defend without fouling if they go with speed
@rdtopp.bsky.social pedantic, I know, but Andrew Vaughn joined the Brewers on July 7th. From July 7th on, the best hitter on the Brewers was Brice Turang:
.298/.370/.519 for a 147 wRC+! FIVE NINETEEN! (also wild that minimum 70 PA everyone but Perkins and Joey was > 110, 11 guys!)
Anyone who thinks Portis powered helpful doesnβt understand basketball
Even with a Doc trying to kill em.
My exact issue with the false precision in offside calls. So perhaps Iβve already been convinced
Perhaps not, though. You could just have an image that was the boundary minus the margin of error as a Red βStrike zoneβand a cloud of blue outside the boundary plus the MOE labeled βball zoneβ and in between, a βcall standsβ zone.
I actually wouldnβt mind either. Iβve wanted this more the marginal offside calls in soccer. I just think the PR lift of the two zones would be quite heavy.
Actually, it would give you two different zones: one for called balls & one for called strikes. For Called balls, the boundary minus the margin of error and Called strikes, the margin plus the margin of error.
Iβm sure people would love having two different zones depending on the umpires call.
The Sal quote isnβt saying he doesnβt know thats what is happening, heβs saying his disagrees with that choice and thinks it is a bad idea.
I was with Taylor Anderson-Heide with promoting the guard. It seemed like an easier shot, but they barely considered it

If a podcast about MLBβs best team neglects to mention its best player, did the podcast even happen?
Outdoor hockey season
FTR, my 10 year old just walked home from school, dropped off his backpack, grabbed his hockey skates and wonβt be back from the community rink until 7:30/8

The Brewers used to be a darling of PECOTA with projections exceeding pundit expectations. Since the Arnold takeover, that has... shifted. Anything to that? Did you stop putting your finger on the scale (jk)?
Words for sure, and I would have agreed on actionsβ¦ until this. If Joey starts to play 3B, Iβm going to come back to this chart. But youβre probably right and Joey will just play SS and my chart will be meaningless
Joey ortiz stats at 3B, SS OAA, DRS, DRP
Could this have something to do with it? Perhaps the Brewers internals look more like DRS or DRP and think Joey helps at 3B, but is kinda mid at SS. Let Jett take over SS and then Joey can pick it at 3rd. Worst case, Joey still doesn't hit and 3B is A LOT easier to upgrade than SS.
Back to back Cy youngs is a good start
Dieng it Doc, please stop with the Bobby and Sims minutes
