(i would be more grateful for a robust valley-wide public transit option, but i don’t know that that will happen in my lifetime, so until i can afford to commute via amtrak, a 2018 prius is the best i can do.)

now that gas is mostly $4.60-5.50 a gallon where i am (and steadily rising), i have never been more grateful to own a prius and be insane about only doing my 30-minute commute once in each direction every day. if i can’t fit my plans around work, they simply won’t happen.

just remembered i had a capri sun today for the first time in ??? because that was one of the three beverages (the others being water and coffee) provided at my meeting (attended largely by retirees) this morning. wholesome.

sat down to write, like, 45 minutes ago and still have zero words because i started doing research on a bar from the ‘70s with the same name as a much more famous bar from the ‘80s and ‘90s.

she’s an angel. a lady at the cafe told her she had “a lot of body” lol. she’s a beautiful loaf.

she got to walk until she was exhausted and rolled around in the grass and got lots of compliments at the coffee shop and she behaved herself the whole time!

i’m glad y’all are getting a bit of crew time and i hope it’s been fantastic so far!

i had a lovely day (even work was totally fine!!!), but i do kinda wish i was in seattle with pirate pals.

still liquid death makes my teeth and bones hurt and i get -so- upset when i go somewhere and that’s all there is

i got up at 5:30 and then had a meeting from 9-12 and then went to the park and coffee shop with my precious pigeon

i have a meeting in less than twelve hours and that makes me feel so sad. don’t they know i need to be up past midnight reading and writing about ed and stede??? or that i need to be asleep until at least 8 and to make no effort to get ready until 10 or 11 because it’s a saturday???
