On March 26th I’ll be at @westwoodbooks.bsky.social, the largest bookshop in the Yorkshire Dales. I’ve wanted to arrange an event there for a long time, so I’m over the moon that I’ll finally get to sit amongst their stock of 70,000 books and talk about mine.

Busy cataloguing more mountaineering books today. Pulling together a nice collection of women’s climbing books 😊🏔️🧗🏻

Have you heard of Odette Tchernine? A socialite & novelist, she became a renowned cryptozoologist in the 1970’s. She wrote a number of books about the Yeti or Abominable Snowman. We have two, one is signed & inscribed by the author with a few annotations correcting the text. Both first editions.

Our UK last order date for items required before Christmas is Thursday 19th December. This is for both online orders & in store collection.
Our Christmas opening hours are:
Christmas Eve 10:30am - 3pm
Christmas Day Closed
Boxing Day 10:30am - 3pm
All other days will be as normal.
