Meh… Havertz got closer to match fitness Gyokeres and the midfield got a well earned & much needled rest, Saka only saw 15 mins and we’re through to the next round. That’s really all today was about. The injuries are a disaster, but Dowman’s performance was an added bonus. On to the next one.

I don’t think Madueke was much above dreadful either tbf. That said I don’t think the pitch did any of our attackers any favours.

Even the ‘great to watch’, aside for being subjective & intangible, isn’t unique to Arsenal… I don’t think any team has consistently produced exciting attacking football this season. Again though, it’s only a point of criticism when it’s Arsenal.
