A spiral galaxy with three prominent arms wrapping around it, and with a haze of stars, gas, and dark dust between the arms. It appears slightly off center, toward the right of the frame. There are shining blue points, which are clusters of stars, throughout the arms and some patches of gas beyond the galaxy’s edge, where stars are forming. The center of the galaxy also shines brightly in yellow-white light. It is on a dark background where some small orange dots mark distant galaxies.
