Mel with the markings from her Winterblessed skin in League of Legends. The markings aren't gold but shimmer in blue, purple, pink and silver and their shapes are inspired by snowflakes and ice crystals. A big snowflake on her chest and crystal-like markings on her forehead and under her eyes. Her hair is mostly down and covered in glitter and stars. Mel is wearing a silky lilac robe.

The same thing in blue. No, really. She already looked like a starry night personified, so I made everything blue and her markings glow more in this one :> Just for funsies.

To which I agree in hindsight can come out as excessively negative, I don't think my opinion about her behaviour is negative or stereotypical.

I actually am not opposed to discourses but I didn't appreciate the implications that I meant something specific when I actually didn't. I don't mean to come out as defensive but I felt like my words were misinterpreted, and even if used an exaggerated term like manipulation

I didn't even imply that Jayce is this innocent being twisted by Mel, he's equally as flawed and already charmed by the idea of fame before he meets Mel. It's just that in this discourse I was talking about Mel, and not any other character

Never once I depicted her behaviour as solely evil or irredeemable, I don't think I've ever put her into any stereotypes, if the usage of the word manipulative in this case is wrong then I deeply apologise for it, yet I stand by my personal interpretation of her

And to me, when later she casts away the medarda ring and votes against Piltover's armament, she decides to cast away the expectations of her mother and grow into her own person

It was never my intention to paint her as evil though, I've stated many times that I think this behaviour of hers is, to me, her attempt at trying to stand to the standards of the Medarda, and that implies using the chances she gets to obtain what she wants

I'm extremely aware how Mel is treated in the arcane fandom and how bigoted and disgusting people can be, but even with that I stand with my vision of her character and I genuinely don't think I'm at fault for villainizing or stereotyping her

Maybe manipulation is a strong word, however it felt appropriate to me as I intended it not as her Bringing him down to the wrong path of evil and destruction but trying to get him to a point she liked and wanted

No that is disgusting and horrifying and I never said they have no correction to racist and I agree the random is absolutely riddled with racists and disgusting people, and with fetishizing people. Still I don't think my personal opinion falls into that category

I think the concept of purifying a character of their flaws with the guise of defending them is misogynistic to me. I personally never implied I think you are a misogynist and if I did I apologise

But I did feel like you're trying to twist my words to make me sound more antagonistic

I have explained my points previously and I think despite him failing miserably at his tasks Jayce was still convinced by Mel into doing stuff even if he then backed up from or changed his mind

I think it's unfair to imply people are racists for having an opinion of Mel that doesn't adapt with your view of her character

Because I'm not talking about Jayce I'm talking about Mel's behaviour
