Grammarly declined my request to interview CEO Shishir Mehrotra today. But it told me that in response to criticisms, it will allow experts to opt out of the feature by emailing expertoptout@superhuman.com.
I've decided that instead of wasting my own time to see if Grammarly has stolen my name and writing for use their business, I'd just email them to opt out and make them waste some time cleaning up their own goddamn mess.

It's kinda hilarious that Target thinks people will come flocking back if they just pause their *active* hostility to every vulnerable group. Nah. They want us to come back for their low-quality overpriced products? They'd better throw their whole weight into supporting progressive causes
Facebook post by Nekima Levy Armstrong: "Friends, A Breaking News headline just appeared in the Star Tribune, claiming that the national Target boycott ended today. This is false. The writer of the story, Carson Hartzog, is fully aware that the Target boycott was launched in Minneapolis on February 1, 2025. I have spoken to her several times since then, yet she failed to reach out to me, Jaylani Hussein, or Monique Cullars Doty, the three founders of the national Target boycott for the story. Carson even used the photo from our press conference that includes my daughter, Assata Joy and Ms. Rosemary Nevils, an elder in our community, to try to add legitimacy to a bogus story. I am once again disgusted by the Star Tribune and their attempts to minimize and erase the voices of our community. The nationwide Target Boycott is not over, unless and until Target reverses its decision to rollback Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, as we said from the beginning. βPastorβ Jamal Bryant does not speak for us or our community and has zero authority to end the nationwide boycott of Target, a company that is headquartered in Minneapolis. Please donβt believe the hype and these attempts to rescue Target from the effects of capitulating to the Trump Administration. Target rolled back DEI because of Donald Trump. They donated $1 million to the Trump/Vance inauguration committee. Target also allowed ICE to stage in its parking lots during Operation Metro Surge. The nationwide boycott of Target is successful and it will continue. Please continue to shop elsewhere."
Nekima on the Target boycott.
I'm no economist, but this seems like it could be a problem
My prediction is that most Canadians also think Americans are awful, and the majority of Americans think Canadians are good, but it would be very interesting to see the numbers
/2 I still think it is astounding and a sign of the moral rot of institutions that the focus is on him being friendly with Epstein and not specifically on conspiring with Epstein, convicted sex offender, how to take advantage of a younger and less powerful colleague he calls a racial slur.
I wonder what the surveys would say if they also asked the Canadians about Americans and vice versa?
I think it has to do with us constantly watching our fellow Americans committing truly awful crimes and not getting consequences.
βHey weβre paying for all this rat poison, someoneβs gotta eat it! Canβt have it go to wasteβ
Many older academics remember being blindsided by the internet and are determined not to be the people who missed the boat again- and they are so sealed up in academia that they only see institutional competition and treat the larger ethical fallout as someone elseβs problem.
So many average citizens have stood up to Trump.
Alex Pretti went to the street to protect his fellow humans, who the Trump regime was harming. He lost his life for it. Renee Good lost her life for resisting.
And sorry, butβthese fucking cowards in the Senate canβt vote against Trump nominees?
So much was said about @slotkin.senate.gov and @captmarkkelly.bsky.social for this video.
But they canβt vote against Trump nominees?
That is rank cowardice. Thereβs no 40 dimensional chess here. No one is going to reward them at the polls for voting in a bipartisan way for fascist nominees.
Kinda weird that the US elite is full of child molesters flying to pedophile island but if a poor artist ages Sailor Moon up to 18 to sell porn to anime fans she gets obliterated from the internet
(Guardian) β Iran has spurned two messages from Donald Trumpβs special envoy, Steve Witkoff, seeking a ceasefire as its leaders sense it is not losing the war and the US president is at the minimum feeling the political pressure.

After revelations that companies like Ring have been selling home security footage to ICE, the most common defense of keeping a camera up seems to be, βBut what if Iβm stalked?β
And as a violence researcher, Iβm just here to state for the record that police do not care about your security footage.
Hm, I do seem to remember reading about religious extremists in the US who want to control what religion we're allowed to have, subjugate women, kill gay and trans people..... oh wait, I remember now, they're called "Republicans!"
It's wild how they've all decided health care is going to be their only talking point, but they STILL WON'T even campaign on universal healthcare.
The best thing the Dems/DNC could do is take everyone with any name recognition at all (outside of a key few) and put them in carbonite
No Clintons, Obamas, Bidens, Pelosis, Harris's, Schumers, Jeffries's, Carvilles anywhere near any campaign
They won't do this. But they should
I'll vote Dem every damn time but yeah, I utterly despise the Democratic Party. The wins are all very much in spite of the party itself, not because of it.
the Dem party number is easily explained by the fact that bluesky is full of people who will crawl over broken glass to vote for Democrats in November and also hate Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries with every bone in their body
NBC News poll Voters hold negative views of Al. In fact, the only topics less popular in the survey were the Democratic Party and Iran.
Truly a perfect news alert
The risk for babies who get measles under the age of 6 months to develop this within 10 years is 1 in 600.
Yesterday I had no internet for a few hours and ate an apple. It felt like an extremely minor insight into what it's like to live as a horse.
If you're scared of protesting or a general strike because you could lose your job, healthcare, and housing, or even go to jail, now you understand why the US has no universal healthcare or housing and no guaranteed parental leave, but DOES have the largest prison and police system on planet Earth.
The tweet is fake, but the issue is certainly real - there's really nothing stopping the company from deciding to brick your car at any moment they choose.
Millennial here begging companies to leave us alone. I bought the thing. You got your money. I donβt want to be on a customer journey. This isnβt a relationship. Itβs a transaction. And itβs over.
The question I get more than any other as a trial lawyer is "how can they do that? Isn't that illegal?"
How can the cop lie under oath? How can the landlord evict me for my religion or race? How can my job fire me for being queer? Isn't that illegal?
I love Econ-positng. Dan Habsmith of Guttermeyer Associates posts the most confusing chart you've ever seen and says "Quite surprising VARG numbers, SPLG index showing movement" and you get the context by one of his mutuals quoting it with "Buy a fucking gun and head for the hills. Right now."
The thing about the US is it couldn't possibly be more self suicidal or insane and yet no alternative has emerged that anyone trusts to suck less.
