I start grief counseling this evening. Thursday, it'll be one month since David died, and I'm finding myself weepier these past few days. The shock of his sudden illness is beginning to wear off and now I can begin grieving. God, I miss him so much. Prayers and good thoughts gratefully accepted.

My grandson Will finished 5th in the Georgia Independent School spelling bee finals today. He dedicated his success to his Gramps, AKA my husband who died February 12th. ❤️

My husband David had a sudden, catastrophic health event and died last week. It feels impossible, but it's true.

We had been looking forward to attending our first AWP together. Hope everybody who's going has a wonderful time. I will attend vicariously--looking forward to photos, etc.
